Reduced Permissions is supposed to be the implementation of Microsoft's UAC for Vista, written by IntelliNavigator. Any virus scanner may miss a virus if its definition file is not updated in time. UAC technology can supposedly protect a pc from any types of virus. Reduced Permissions actually replace Internet Explorer with it's own command, behaves in the similar way as Internet Explorer except a few features such as Windows Update and online scan.
