At least four generations of buildings are visible here, or used to be. The oldest ones have been taken down and left an open space for even newer buildings. The generation after them were the old two story apartments right beside them. The later ones are the higher buildings behind the two stories. The latest ones are the twin tower of the infamous Tokyo Metropolitan City Hall.
