Walking - Takao to Sagamiko ウォーキング - 高尾から相模湖

It is (almost) a fine day today, so I decideded to hike Takao in preparation for the maple season.
There are quite some hikers even before the mountains turn yellowish or reddish. Right after I started, I noticed a man of about 50, in suits, leather shoes and a briefcase. He walked about 20 meters in front of me. He kept the same distance from me even after climbing for more than 30 minutes, when I started panting for air. I made me wonder whether he is a man, but always tries to make the best use of his free time between works.
It turned cloudy alomst right after I started climbing. Therefore, I set my goal as to the summit of Takao mountain (599 meter high) and turn back and have a late lunch at home. After reaching the summit, the sun started showing her face once in a while. See some hopes, I started wondering around the summit and looking for early birds of red or yellow leaves. The further away I was from the summit, the finer the wheather turned. Delighted, I started toward Takao-san's nearest neighbor Ichodaira (一丁平), passing Momijidai (もみじ台).
Upon seeing the information board showing the distance to Sagameeko, I decided not to turn all the way back to Takaosan and head toward the lake. The Shiroyama (城山; 670m), or Kobotokashiroyama (小仏城山) is on the way to Jinbasan (陣馬山, 857m). It is also the turning point to Sagamiko. Since I got very hungry before even reaching Shiroyama, I had an instant noodle and a small pack of snacks. After taking a few more shots of maples and the distant mountains, I started going down toward Sagamiko. Since it was raining yesterday, the road is still a bit muddy and quite slippery for going down. I managed to reach Bentenbashi (弁天橋) without falling down once, but lost directions from there. There is a small shop selling mush room, walnut and some local vegitables. I hesitated for a while and bought some walnut. Then I felt comfortable asking for directions to Sagamiko Station.
The route to Sakamiko from Tenbenbashi does does not have much ups and downs, is only about 3 to 4 km away. Therefore it become the final cool down.
GPS tracks are here.
