アメリカ横断旅行 - A trip of trans-America

Due to time restrains, this trip only covered the distance from Boston to Denver by land trip, and rest to San Francisco by Air. The itenerary is as follows.

The trips by air was chosen because the route is much less convenient to travel by Amtrak, which has not direct trip from Denver to Los Angeles.
Above is the GPS tracks with Sony's GPS-CS1K. Besides its bulky body, the only other thing I am unhappy with it is its power consumption. I have had to change the battery about every 8 hours. Not that I had been up and went around 24 hours a day. But we did spend a lot of time walking around for longer than 8 hours a day. Besides, the trip by trains were all longer than twice of what a fresh battery can last.
