The crowd in Tokyo train station

Crowded almost from the start to the end of its business day, it is always a frustrating place to go. Everybody is rushing to somewhere, with tense expressions, but with good observations of the surroundings.
The stair is mostly devided into up and down lanes on the left and right side respectively. Even if there is congestion here and there from time to time, no one curses or pushes; everybody is just following the stream patiently and silently.
This is a bitter and sweet case. The trains in Tokyo are well developped, convenient and mostly punctunctual to the seconds. They are very safe too, as compared to those in any other cities in any other country. Yet, out of their advantages, more and more people are using them daily, from further and further away in the suburbs. The result, it is also always a stressful time for people commuting daily on them.
