Went to the station nearest to the festival only one hour before it started. The best place I could find was on the main road closed specifically for this purpose. Only about two third of the fireworks were visible most of the time, but it was an unique experiences to see a fireworks show between buildings.
Before the festival, went to Johnajima to take airplanes arriving at Haneda Airport. At the beginning I went to Tsubasa instead. But this park turned out to be the right place to take sideviews of airplances.
