This is another long walking trip. I went to Asagaya first to see the Tanabata Matsuri (Festival) held ther from Aug. 4 to 8. But it was not as fun as I expected. Having spent about one hour there, making a round trip along its shopping area and taking many photos, I decided to walk for some distance.
Tracks by GPS can be found here. It took some wrong turns. I also purposely took some turns to visit shrines along the route. The total distance is about 25km. It took me about 5 hours to cover the distance. The average speed is about 5km/h, with photo time and shopping for drinks. Only had ice cream and a deep fried bread.
